Avatar is back at “CinemaPlus” after 13 years

14.12.2022

On December 15, a chain of the premium class cinemas, “CinemaPlus”, starts showing one of the most anticipated films of recent years - Avatar 2: The Way of Water. The action of the new Avatar - just like the film of the year 2009 - takes place on the planet Pandora, where the existence of the local Na`vi people is threatened.

Director of the film James Cameron is planning another three sequels in the “Avatar” film series.

In the second series of the film, the actors Sam Worthington and Zoe Saldana, who played the main roles in the first film, are the starring characters again. Sigourney Weaver also returns to the screen hero who died in the first film.

Jack Champion, James Fletters, Trinity Jo-Lee Bliss and “Oscar” winner Kate Winslet are also joining them.

The budget for Avatar: The Way of Water was over $350 million.

Briefly about the film: After taking the avatar image, the soldier, Jake Sully becomes the leader of the Na'vi people and takes on the mission of protecting new friends from mercenary businessmen from Earth. Now he has someone to fight for - with Jake, his beautiful beloved Neytiri. When heavily armed earthlings return to Pandora, Jake is ready to fight back.

The first part of the film was released in 2009 in the traditional 3D format. At that time there was no newest 4DX technology. Being the only representative of this technology in the entire Transcaucasia, “CinemaPlus”, located in the Deniz Mall shopping center, will exclusively show the film in this format.

4DX technology is one of the most immersive formats in the film industry, bringing the audience into the action on the big screen.

Since the launch of 4DX, audiences have been visiting cinemas with great hype and have vivid holiday memories as everyone dreams of being part of the movie.

We would like to note that the film will be shown in 3 languages in the chain of cinemas “CinemaPlus”: in Russian, English and Turkish.
