Briefly about the film: Murat Gogebakan was born in Adana in 1968 and was disabled in his right leg from birth. This physical difficulty alienated him from himself and from his love of music. After the death of his 7-year-old brother, the family considers Murat responsible for this tragedy. He begins to move away from music more and more, as his conscience greatly torments him. Only his cousin Senem is on his side and supports him throughout this period. Later, their friendship turns into a romantic relationship, and they got married.

After completing his musical education, Murat begins to make a living by singing in bars and by teaching. He goes to Istanbul, but at first, he cannot achieve the expected success. There he meets Selma, who will become his second wife.

During his musical career, he received many awards, gave many concerts and recorded albums. At the age of 40 he was diagnosed with leukemia, but as a result of treatment he beat the cancer. “I beat cancer, but I couldn’t beat betrayal!” During treatment, the musician learned that his wife Selma was cheating on him, and under such difficult living conditions, he fell ill with cancer for the second time and died at the age of 45. He leaves behind many albums, hundreds of songs and millions of fans. Gogebakan's fans nicknamed him "The Man of Love".
