Sadly for Fleck, he lives in Gotham, the city where the poor are getting poorer and riches richer. That’s why when the protagonist finds out about being an illegitimate son of the richest resident of city, Thomas Wayne, his mind gets more disturbed.

But the hopes of clown are shattered, and he starts to look for consolation in complete different things, meanwhile destroying himself from inside. As the result, Arthur commits a couple violent crimes, quits taking medicine and provoking rioting during which a couple of rich people, as well as Thomas Wayne die.

Although the story line is sinister, the film captivates a viewer from the first scene. The professional acting, thrilling and unique scenes of film draws more attention to the screen.
