The premium cinema network CinemaPlus became the official partner of the world class champion, chess player Teymur Rajabov, who will participate in the Grand Prix and compete against the world's strongest grandmasters.

The largest world centers were chosen as the cities of the Grand Prix, such as Sharjah (United Arab Emirates), Moscow (Russia), Geneva (Switzerland) and Palma de Mallorca (Spain). As a result of the series, two winners will be determined who will compete for the right to challenge the current world chess champion Magnus Carlsen in the 2018 Candidate Tournament. The monetary prize for each stage is 130,000 euros.

CinemaPlus hopes that will become the winner of this world competition and will bring another important award to Azerbaijan.
