CinemaPlus held a closed pre-premiere screening of the Hollywood film "American Pastoral" in Azerbaijani with well-known Azerbaijani actors. In the foyer specially decorated for the theme of the film, a buffet for guests was organized. This evening the guests of the cinema were show business stars, famous journalists, bloggers and businessmen.

The film "American Pastoral" was dubbed at the Cinemazadeh studio in 2016. Director of dubbing Jafar Akhundzadeh, editor-in-chief Khatai Ali, producer Tural Asadov, sound editor Orkhan Hasanli, mastering Azad Veliyev, post-production supervisor Vugar Islamzadeh.

Tural Asadov, Parvin Abiyeva, Oksana Rasulova, Afag Ganjali, Said Nizami, Gulnara Zulalova, Ramil Zeynalli, Khatai Ali, Humar Guluzadeh, Khalaf Jafarov, as well as the Honored Artist of Azerbaijan Fuad Poladov took part in the voicing of the film.

The American Pastoral is based on the novel by the American writer Philip Roth of the same name. The picture tells the story of an exemplary American - law-abiding citizens, loving husband and caring father, an entrepreneur working in his small factory, which he inherited after his father's death. The likes of him keep the American society in tact. The 60's come, and the ideal life begins to crumble when a beloved daughter escapes from the house, embarking on the path of political terror. The director of the drama is the renowned Scottish actor Ewan McGregor.
