From September 21, the viewers will be able to watch the traditional comedy of People’s Artist of Azerbaijan Vagif Mustafayev "Həyat, deyəsən, gözəldir" (Life seems so beautiful) in Azerbaijani language in the chain of cinemas “CinemaPlus”.
The picture was commissioned by the Ministry of Culture at the «Azerbaijan Film» Film Studio named after Jafar Jabbarly.
The international premiere of the film took place on November 4, 2022, at the Turkic World Film Festival Korkut Ata, where Vagif Mustafayev was awarded an award in the nomination «The best director of the Turkic world».
Director and screenwriter of the film is Vagif Mustafayev.
Starring characters are Hikmet Rahimov, Nino Gomarteli, Dmitry Samkharadze, Georgy Chelia, Aftandil Maharadze, Sevinj Aliyeva, Anaida Rostov, etc.
The film "Həyat, deyəsən, gözəldir" (Life seems so beautiful) tells about the 30-year Armenian occupation of Azerbaijani lands and the Victory of Azerbaijan in the 44-day Patriotic War.
The plot of the film is: As a result of the counter-offensive of the Azerbaijani army, the Armenians panic. Among the captured Armenian soldiers there are two brothers. Their fates are represented in the tragicomic genre, and this forms the basis of the screen piece.
Filming took place in the village of Gadrut, Khojavend district, Khizi district, Baku, and on the Absheron peninsula.
