A presentation of a biographical film about the life and work of the "king of rock and roll" Elvis Presley was held in the open-air cinema "CinemaPlus Amburan Mall".

The décor by “S Design” delighted everyone as it was vintage in style with mirrored disco balls, vinyl records, stage and lighting.

The host and actor of the Azerbaijan State Academic Russian Drama Theater Rustam Karimov greeted and introduced the guests of the event.

The professional musical group "Merry Band" performed retro songs what created the atmosphere of the 60-70s.

Make-up artist, honored artist Maksud Mammadov worked on the image of Elvis Presley. The actor Ilkhan Sadigov embodied the image of the hero of the film which caused pleasant nostalgia feelings among the guests of the event.

Austin Butler, who played the main character in the Elvis movie, has a musical education, which goes well with the image of his character.

Butler confirmed that it was himself who performed the songs in the film. To fulfil this, the actor spent a whole year to train with teachers in voice production before the start of filming. Speaking about his role, Butler noted that he feels a great responsibility to Elvis's relatives, to Elvis himself and to other people who love him very much.

Tom Hanks was cast as Presley's manager Thomas Parker.

The other film stars are Olivia DeJong as Elvis' wife, Priscilla Presley, Helen Thomson and Richard Roxburgh as his parents, Natasha Bassett, Luke Bracey, David Wenham, Daker Montgomery and others.
