In the center of the capital, in the largest cinema "CinemaPlus" located in the shopping center "Deniz Mall" on the shores of the Caspian Sea in, will be held a screening of the American science fiction film of 2009 - "Avatar" with the latest technology 4DX.
The film is written and directed by James Cameron.
Starring characters are Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana and Sigourney Weaver.
Briefly about the film: Former Marine Jake Sally is confined to a wheelchair. Despite his weak body, Jake is still a warrior at heart. He receives the task to make a journey of several light years to the base of earthlings on the planet Pandora, where corporations extract a rare mineral that is of great importance for the way out of the Earth's energy crisis.
"Avatar" is the first film in the history of cinema, whose box office exceeded the mark of $ 2 billion. The film was nominated for an Academy Award in 9 categories.
The creation of "Avatar" began in the mid-1990s, when James Cameron wrote an 80-page concept for the film's script. It was supposed to start filming in 1997 and release "Avatar" in 1999, but, according to Cameron, at that time there was no technology that could embody his vision of the picture.
The film was released in 2009 in the traditional 3D format. There was no latest 4DX technology at the time. Being the only representative of this technology throughout Transcaucasia, the cinema "CinemaPlus" will exclusively show the film in this format.
4DX technology expands the visual effects of films with additional special effects, such as movement, rotation and jolts of seats, water splashes and wind, lightning and snow, soap bubbles and fragrance. As a result, 4DX is one of the most exciting formats in the film industry, engaging viewers in the action taking place on the big screen.
Each 4DX hall consists of seats with movement in space synchronously with video with 21 different effects and maximizes the delight received from watching a movie, and stands beyond the audio and video capabilities. More than 650 Hollywood films were shown in 4DX format.
