The living legend of Brazilian football Ronaldinho Gaucho, who is on a visit to Baku, took part in a charity event for children deprived of parental care.
In the premium class cinema “CineMastercard”, located in the shopping center “Deniz Mall”, a charity screening of the animated film "Wild Robot" was organized for about 40 pupils of the orphanage №1 and Social Service Institutions for people with an established disability №1 of the Agency for Social Services under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The event was attended by the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the chain of cinemas "CineMastercard" Zaur Darabzadeh and the co-founder of the chain of cinemas "CineMastercard" Adnan Ahmedzadeh.
The legendary football player personally presented the children with memorable gifts - balls and T-shirts with his autograph.
It should be noted that Ronaldinho, who became the 2002 world champion as part of the Brazilian national team, arrived in Azerbaijan last night to participate in the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change. (COP29). It should be noted that this is not the first visit of the famous player to Azerbaijan. Previously, Ronaldinho, who is called a "football wizard", had already come to the Land of Fire to create his own sports school. During his brilliant career, the Brazilian played 570 matches, scored 206 goals and gave 171 assists. Ronaldinho's achievements are impressive - he was twice recognized as the best football player in the world, received the Golden Ball and the UEFA best player of the year award. The Brazilian also twice became the top scorer. With the Brazilian national team, Ronaldinho won the 2002 World Cup and the America's Cup one time. In addition, he won the Spanish La Liga and the Spanish Super Cup twice, one time the UEFA Champions League, Serie A and the Brazilian championship. During his career, Ronaldinho played for such famous clubs as Barcelona, PSG, Milan, Flamengo and Fluminense.
