Grand opening of the CinemaPlus cinema took place in Ganja, the second largest city of Azerbaijan. To celebrate that, the movie theater was decorated with a special decor.

For the occasion of the opening of the movie theatre, media representatives, bloggers, famous persons and businessmen were invited from Baku. A tour was organized on specially allocated buses decorated with a cinema advertisement for the guests.

Participating in the event, the head of Ganja city executive power, Elmar Veliyev, general director of CinemaPlus cinema network Zaur Darabzadeh and deputy director Nagif Gamzayev congratulated all and greeted the guests with an opening speech. Also, the director for the repertoire planning of the CinemaPlus Faik Kazimov and the project manager of CinemaPlus Fakhrim Guluzadeh were present at the opening ceremony.

We would like to note that Ganja will be the Capital of European Youth throughout 2016 and the opening of a cinema of the new generation was a necessary and welcome step.

After the official part of the event, a documentary about the life and work of Heydar Aliyev was shown, as well as the film of the "Baku Media Center", "Əbədi ezamiyyət", shot with the support of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, whose general producer and director was Arzu Aliyeva.

In the lobby guests were waiting for specially prepared American popcorn and soft drinks.

Then followed films "Crew" and "Divergent 3", presented by the company "Cinema Distribution".

Note that the construction of the cinema "CinemaPlus" in Ganja was carried out by the company "UM Group". International company in the field of quality control Intertek is one of the main partners.

In particular, it can be noted that in the world there are more than 500 cinemas in 44 countries, the designs of which are produced by the Canadian company Mesbur + Smith Architects. It is this company that has completely done the design work for the cinema "CinemaPlus".

"CinemaPlus" is equipped with new generation projectors "Barco", which have high brightness, as well as sound systems. Consists of 5 halls and 461 seats. In addition, the movie theatre uses the technology of Master Image 3D.

The cinema is located at Nizami 8, near Boulevard, on the 4th floor of the Shopping Center Khamsa Park.
