After her father's death, Lydia, her daughter Astrid and her stepmother Delia return to their old house in the town of Winter River. When Astrid discovers the same model of the city in the attic, Lydia has to tell her about Beetlejuice - a mischievous and extremely unpleasant ghost, whose name should never be mentioned three times.
