On October 20-25 the Festival of Italian Cinema will be held at the 28 Cinema, with the assistance of the Italian association N.I.C.E and the Embassy of Switzerland in Azerbaijan within the framework of the week of the Italian language in the world, Novosti-Azerbaijan reported in the press service of the cinema.

The project sponsors are Yapikredit bank, Port Baku, Hilton Hotel, information support by Nargis Magazine.

The event will feature six films: La Grande Bellezza, Nuovo Cinema Paradise, La Vitae Bella, Il Capitale Umano, ("Human Capital"), and others.

It should be noted that the film "Great Beauty" is a laureate of the "Oscar-2014" award and will be shown in Azerbaijan for the first time. The honorable guest of the festival is the Italian actress Anita Kravos.

Italian cinema has always been original and inimitable. Films of Italian directors, created in different styles, sometimes full of abstractions, metaphors, mystics, forever entered the golden fund of world cinema and became a source of inspiration for fans of Italian cinema and culture.
