October 2, Sea Breeze resort city and CineMastercard cinema chain have signed an agreement to open the first CineMastercard multiplex at Sea Breeze’s territory at the Venetian Harbour complex. The new cinema will be equipped with modern technologies for an enhanced moviegoing experience. The agreement was signed by Elbey Rzayev, Commercial Leasing Director of Sea Breeze and Zaur Darabzadeh, CEO of CineMastercard.

The cinema will become part of Marina Venetian Harbour, the waterfront extension of the Venetian Harbour retail and public complex currently under construction near the Halfmoon Peninsula. The project is designed as a seaside mini-city featuring boutiques of international brands, restaurants and leisure spaces. The complex will include a two-level pedestrian network with streets, alleys, squares, courtyards and terraces.

With a total leasable area of 24,430 square meters, Venetian Harbour is being developed based on a design by architect Sergei Tchoban. One of the complex’s key landmarks will be a lighthouse tower, surrounded by open public spaces with restaurants and green areas.

CineMastercard is one of Azerbaijan’s largest cinema chains, operating 11 cinemas in Baku and other cities across the country. Its modern technological equipment allows audiences to watch films simultaneously with their worldwide premieres. CineMastercard cinemas also exclusively feature the unique Skybox auditoriums, two VIP DIAMOND auditoriums for special guests, as well as the latest 4DX and ScreenX technologies.
