"CinemaPlus" held the screening of film about internationally known weightlifter Naim Suleymanoglu

"28 Mall CinemaPlus" premium cinema theatre held the screening of Turkish film "Pocket Herkules: Naim Suleymanoglu" (Cep Herkülü: Naim Süleymanoğlu).

Film dedicated to internationally known weightlifter Naim Suleymanoglu, who left an indelible mark in Turkish and world sport history.

The event was attended by special guests, four-time world and seven-time Europe champion – Vugar Namazov, president of Azerbaijan Powerlifting Federation – Aladdin Aliyev, three-time world and seven-time Europe champion Ramil Ahmedov, four-times world, three-times Europe champion and world record holder in 75 kg categories – Rovshan Khalilov. The event held the interesting theme-based competitions and presented gifts to winners as well.

The biopic was directed by: Ozer Feyzioglu

Starring: Hayat Ven Eck, Etkin Dikinciler, Yetkin Dikinciler and Selen Ozturk.

Naim Suleymanoglu, nicknamed "Pocket Hercules", ethnic Turkish, born in Bulgaria, then adopted Turkish citizenship.

He achieved 47 world records, 3 Olympic gold medals, won at three different Olympic games, and he won 6 European championships as well, 7 world championships and has many more worthwhile accomplishments, and became the only athlete that can lift the weight three times more of his own weight. He was 15 when he set his first record. Naim Suleymanoglu was the first athlete who won his first gold medal in the Olympics outside Turkey. He left behind unbreakable records!
