As part of the events dedicated to National Cinema Day, the CineMastercard cinema chain expressed its appreciation to the creative team behind the film “Taghiyev: Tsar.”

On behalf of Zaur Darabzadeh, General Director of the CineMastercard cinema chain, a Certificate of Appreciation was presented to the film’s director, Zaur Gasimli. The award recognized the film “Taghiyev: Tsar” as the most-watched Azerbaijani film across the CineMastercard cinema chain in 2025, as well as its significant contribution to the development of Azerbaijani cinema and its outstanding artistic achievement in creating a compelling cinematic work that left audiences with unforgettable impressions.

In his speech, Zaur Darabzadeh expressed his appreciation to the entire creative team behind the film, with special recognition given to the team at Baku Media Center, which served as the project’s producer. He emphasized that large-scale cinematic projects of this kind make a significant contribution to the development of national cinema, the promotion of Azerbaijan’s historical heritage, and the growing audience interest in locally produced films.

Film director Zaur Gasimli, expressing his gratitude for the recognition, noted that this success was the result of the collective efforts of the entire creative team.
